Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas learned they had been freed, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. It is the oldest celebration of the end of slavery in the United States and a day to honor the freedom and culture of the Black community.

Today and every day, we encourage everyone to listen, learn, and actively support Black voices, Black owned businesses, and Black communities.
