Browse and shop from 50+ local artists and makers, grab some local bites and beverages, and enjoy a live DJ set to keep the vibes going all afternoon long. Catch live art demonstrations, dig through our beloved Wood Shop Yard Sale for tools galore, and spend time in creative community with friends old and new.

Applications are now open for Pratt Fine Arts Center’s 2026–2027 Scholarships + Awards cycle and more than $38,100 in support is available across 14 awards.

This juried opportunity is designed primarily for artists in the Pacific Northwest region who are ready to make meaningful use of Pratt’s studios, classes, and creative community over the course of the year. 

Before Applying: 
Please review scholarship + awards criteria carefully as each varies. Applicants may apply for multiple scholarships through one application however will only receive one award if selected. 

Artists who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQIA2S+, and/or living with or having disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Dates:

"There is something completely irreplaceable about a shared studio space. Surrounded by instructors and fellow creatives, I'm not just learning a technique, but absorbing different ways of seeing, problem-solving, and interpreting a medium. It has rewired how I approach a block or a plate; I start connecting dots I might not have in isolation. I can fully commit to the discipline of the details, knowing that's exactly where the magic is."

Just a couple days left to catch multidisciplinary artist and former Edwin T. Pratt scholarship recipient, Jennifer Fernandez's solo exhibition, Endurance - now through Sunday, May 31 at !

Endurance Overview:
"Through sculpture and video, Endurance explores a throughline from the age of exploration to the present-day colonization of Antarctica. Named after Antarctic explorer Ernest Shackleton’s sunken ship The Endurance, the show’s title highlights the resilience of the land, ice, and animals that endure despite ongoing environmental degradation in and around Antarctica today."

"Jennifer Fernandez is a multidisciplinary artist based in Shoreline, Washington. Fernandez’s sculptural work has exhibited nationally. Her paintings have shown at various galleries throughout the Pacific Northwest as well as at the Frye Museum Store and are held in collection by the Seattle Children’s Hospital. Her short stories have appeared in the Penn Review, Fjords Review, and Moss, and her creative nonfiction piece "The Cuban Brown Rabbit" was nominated for the Pushcart Prize. She is the recipient of the Edwin T. Pratt Scholarship, a City of Seattle's Office of Arts & Culture grantee, a Puffin Foundation grantee, and was an artist in residence at the Vermont Studio Center (2023). She is currently working towards her MFA at Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon."

"The generous monetary gift and printmaking studio time has allowed me to get time on the press and produce my robust body of work for my solo art show. I have received helpful professional guidance from Kamla Kakaria and Kim Van Someren. I have gotten to spend quality time with smart & creative people and gotten to see how they conduct themselves and produce their artwork in a shared studio."

If you're in Milwaukee, WI or plan on visiting soon, be sure to check out Max's exhibition (opening tonight, 5/22!) at Grove Gallery titled, "Max Went West: An American Tale III."

Max shares, "The exhibition will showcase a series of woodcut prints that reflect my wild adventures through the Midwest and West Coast, scenes in which fish embrace warmly, and horses gallop along mountainous landscapes. In this show, you'll meet old friends, new enemies, see a young mouse who can stand tall and witness a cowardly cat getting a new start as a dog."
