The Juneteenth flag is a symbol of freedom and resilience. Its colors — depicted here with hibiscus (𝘏𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘶𝘴 𝘴𝘢𝘣𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘢), elderflower, and butterfly pea (𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘢 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘢) — were chosen to mirror the American flag.

AHPA Project Scientist Holly Chittum presented on U.S. botanical raw material production and supply at the 14th Annual Conference of the American Council for Medicinally Active Plants (ACMAP), held this week in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
