The only thing better than a day at camp? Camp till sunset! 🌅 Our legendary Latestays and Extended Trips are designed to give our campers extra hours of premium camp magic. This custom program gives every age track, from our preschoolers to our teenagers, their own tailored evening adventures at our Silver Spring location!

For our PK through 4th-grade tracks, Latestays are a massive milestone where they get to experience the thrill of being a “big kid” on the campgrounds after hours!
• Discovery & Explorer (PK-2nd): A classic campfire s’more roasting circle and a custom tractor ride through our grounds! (Happens Thursdays)
• Adventure (3rd-4th): High-octane evening field challenges, crazy counselor skits, and deep peer bonding around a crackling fire! (Happens Fridays). Cost is $40 per event. Swipe left to see what we have planned for our older campers! 👉

Our older tracks don’t just stay late—they head out on incredible travel adventures! Best of all, these premium experiences are completely included in your base weekly tuition.
• High Adventure (5th-6th): Unforgettable, extended Friday field trips on Weeks 2, 4, 6, and 8.
• Teen Adventure (7th-9th): Alternating between legendary multi-state beach and theme park overnighters on Weeks 2, 4, 6, 8 and action-packed extended day trips on Weeks 3, 5, 7, 9!

Meet Jen, Trisha, James, Loree, Abby, and Naisha! The Support Squad handles absolutely everything behind the scenes to make the camp magic happen.
Ever wonder how thousands of water balloons, beads, and craft supplies magically appear exactly when they’re needed? That’s all thanks to this powerhouse crew! They completely run the bin barn, where all the supplies are kept for our fun games and crafts. From sorting gear for our craziest camp activities to prepping daily arts and crafts, they keep the fun moving. 🎨🏃💨
On top of keeping activities fully stocked, they also manage all of our daily deliveries and packages!
They are extremely hard workers, showing what true servant leadership looks like every single day. Camp simply wouldn’t happen without their hustle! 📋✨

Packing up the buses, coordinating travel, and keeping the hype levels high takes a special kind of leadership, and this squad completely crushes it. 🚌🪓

Pool Trips & Summer Fun: Splashing into the best parts of summer with weekly pool trips to cool off, play water games, and swim with friends.
Growing Independence: Tailored activities that encourage campers to step out of their comfort zones, try new things, and discover new strengths.
Epic Camp Traditions: High-energy games, creative challenges, and creating those lifelong camp memories alongside friends and mentors.

If you’ve ever wondered who orchestrates the madness, memories, and high-energy programming at Camp Sonshine International, look no further than this incredible squad: Cooper, Patrice, Mitch, and Oliver!
The Mission: Organizing, and executing the massive lineup of daily specialized activities that keep our campers smiling, moving, and growing. 
The Vibe: Pure, unstoppable enthusiasm.
🏹 What Do They Actually Coordinate?
They don’t just set up standard camp games; they are the mastermind coordinators behind all the epic adventures straight out of our Program Guide, including: 
High-Flying Adventure: Managing the Zip Lines (including the big one over 50 feet high!), the Climbing Wall, and letting campers soar on the Tarzan Swing. 
Target Practice at Robin’s Range: Keeping things safe and accurate at Archery, the Tomahawk Toss, and facing off in the inflatable arena for Nerf Battle & Archery Tag! 
Ultimate Water Zones: Beating the summer heat with massive water fights at Splash Landing, tactical games of Aqua Tag, , and racing down the Slip ‘N Slides.📸 The “Avengers” of Camp FunWe are so grateful for their creativity, teamwork, and dedication to giving our campers a truly remarkable summer experience.

🎒 The Leader Behind the Program
Zach is the driving force behind mentoring and shaping our rising young leaders this summer. He isn’t just passionate about the camp world—he is literally making a career out of it!
The Credentials: Zach is currently at Liberty University pursuing a degree in Camp and Outdoor Adventure Leadership. (Talk about having the absolute perfect guy for the job! 🎓🌲)
The Mission: Equipping our teens with hands-on leadership skills, responsibility, and the confidence to make a difference.
The Vibe: Infusing every single day with intentional mentorship and unmatched energy. We are so grateful to have Zach’s expertise, dedication, and fun-loving spirit on our leadership team this year. Our LITs and ACs are in the absolute best hands!
