Congratulations to our kindergarten graduates! What a year of learning, growth, laughter, and friendship. We are so proud of each and every one of you and can't wait to see you shine in first grade! Class of 2038!

This year's theme, "Know Me, Care for Me, Ease My Way," inspired some incredible artwork. We are so proud of our talented students for representing Lidgerwood with creativity, thoughtfulness, and heart. The winners are Wally H, Aeda B, Lady G, Harper T, Maggie N, and Mia D!

WHEN IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL? There are only a few days of school left! Here are a few reminders to make sure you have everything squared away for a successful start to summer!

• Preschool Programs: Our littlest learners finish up this week:

- June 10: Last day of AM/PM Preschool
- June 11: Last day of PreK, SSP & CIP Preschool

PreK graduates, remember to register for kindergarten this fall at spokaneschools.org/kindergarten.

• Seniors: Our soon-to-be graduates will finish up by the end of this week to prepare to receive their diplomas. For commencement dates and livestream links, visit spokaneschools.org/graduation.

• Grades K-11: Remaining students finish school with a half-day on Tuesday, June 16. Schools will be dismissed three hours after regular start time. There will be no lunch service at schools on this day; breakfast will be served.

School buses will run on an adapted schedule according to dismissal times. Spokane Transit bus riders should visit spokanetransit.com/spsconnect to determine when to catch your bus for home.

Most end-of-year questions will be answered best by your school, but if you’re not sure who to ask, you can always reach out at spokaneschools.org/letstalk and we’ll make sure your query is directed to the right person.

What a fantastic day at Lidgerwood yesterday!

We kicked things off with the Spokane Lilac Princesses reading with students out on the field, making for a memorable afternoon in the sunshine. Families also joined us for Book Up Night, where our K–2 students picked out 12 books each to enjoy all summer long.

We were also proud to host a mobile blood drive, helping give back to our community in a meaningful way.

The day wrapped up with our annual End of Year Concert. The weather was amazing, the company was wonderful, and the food kept everyone happy and full! A huge thank you to Mr. Garvin for putting together another outstanding performance and helping create such a special evening for our school community.

Days like these remind us what makes Lidgerwood such a great place to learn, grow, and connect.

Nothing beats a beautiful spring afternoon, a cozy spot outside, and a brand-new book! ☀️📚
A huge thank you to the Spokane Rotary for gifting us these amazing books to 4th and 5th graders. As you can see, we wasted absolutely no time diving right into our new adventures!
