Our kindergarten students have been participating in directed drawing activities that combine creativity, writing, and learning! ✏️🎨 During a month focused on the school character trait of creativity, students practiced using vocabulary words such as “symmetrical” and “rectangle” while strengthening their drawing and writing skills. Students also worked hard on using capital letters, punctuation, and heart words in their writing. It has been wonderful to see their imagination and confidence grow through both art and academics.

At Indian Trail, students welcomed spring by learning about Hawaiian culture and the meaning behind making leis. 🌺 Through creativity, conversation, and community, students discovered that leis are more than beautiful flowers—they are symbols of love, friendship, celebration, respect, and connection. It was a wonderful opportunity to share culture, build community, and celebrate kindness together.
