LET’S MOVE: All Spokane Public Schools students in grades K-8 are invited to kick, set, pass, and hop at SYSA-Spokane Youth Sports Association Summer Camps!

Held at Bemiss Elementary, Cooper Elementary School, Regal Elementary, Stevens Elementary, Linwood Elementary School and Camp Adams, these sessions will help students enhance skills in soccer, volleyball, basketball, and speed & agility.

It’s heating up out there, Eagle families! As we dive into the warmest part of summer during National Safety Month, here are a few quick tips to help everyone stay safe and cool.

•Hydrate: Drink water throughout the day, even before you feel thirsty.
•Seek Shade: Wear a hat and sunglasses, and take breaks from direct sun during peak afternoon hours.
•Lather Up: Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen at least 30 minutes before going outside and reapply as needed.

Specialists collaborated together to hold a “Camp Audubon” this week and last week combining classes for their Art, P.E., Music, Library, and Science times. Students sang songs, did scavenger hunts, and a lot of other outdoor activities to end the year. 🦅

Today’s fun included the 4/5 and 4th grades end-of-the year root beer floats and kindergarten promotion! 🍨 🎉🦅

1st grade has one last fun-filled trip to Dwight Merckel on Friday. Also, Mrs. Gillmer had her special lunch with students who raised more than $500 for the jogathon fundraiser. And B is for bubbles! 🫧 🛝 💦 🦅 ☀️ 🍔 🍕🍟
