This year’s theme, “What’s Your Story?” is a reminder that every person has experiences, challenges, memories, and moments that shape who they are. Stories connect people, preserve history, and help us better understand one another — which is why every story matters.

As the school year comes to a close and our seniors prepare to graduate and head into their next chapter, we wanted to take one final opportunity to celebrate a few of those stories. 🎓✨

Over the past few weeks, we’ve highlighted members of the Class of 2026 from across the many programs at SVH. As yesterday marked the last day of school, this post wraps up our senior spotlight series and closes out another incredible year.

Congratulations, Class of 2026 — we can’t wait to see where your stories go next. 🎉

A huge thank you to all of our brave slime recipients! 💚 We promise it was all for a good cause.

Thanks to these slime-covered students and staff, our ASB and FBLA raised nearly $1,000! As we head into the final week of school, we’re grateful for a community that’s always willing to have a little fun while making a big impact.

What a week it has been! 🎓

Congratulations to all of our graduates across Core, Academy, and Endeavor. We are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and grateful to have been part of your journey.

As this chapter comes to a close, remember: the rest of your story is still unwritten. We can’t wait to see where it takes you next. 🎉

Important Reminder for Graduating Seniors

Your school district email account will be deactivated after graduation. If you have any documents, photos, assignments, or other files on your school Google Drive that you would like to keep, you must transfer or back them up to a personal Google account no later than Thursday, June 11th.

Please make sure to save anything important before your account is shut down, as you will lose access to all files associated with your school account.

There’s only three days left till graduation, hang in there seniors!

It may be the end of the school year, but our students are still hard at work on some incredible projects!

Our 9/10 grade band projects class is learning about the brain and nervous system by building models of hormones and neurotransmitters. Meanwhile, our 11/12 grade band projects class is reading either Remarkably Bright Creatures or Project Hail Mary and using their knowledge of physics to design and build theme park models inspired by their books.

We are so lucky at SVH to provide innovative, hands on learning experiences that give students the opportunity to explore their interests, think creatively, and bring their ideas to life!

COUCH ➡️ 5K

On Friday, Core students successfully completed a 5K run after six weeks of progressively challenging conditioning and wellness activities. Throughout the program, students focused on building healthy habits through regular stretching, proper hydration, adequate sleep, and consistent physical activity. Each week, they worked to improve their endurance by running a little farther and a little faster than before.

All of their hard work culminated in the Couch to 5K event. It was a great day of perseverance, community, and celebration as students crossed the finish line and saw the results of their dedication firsthand!

Thank you to everyone who attended last night’s Block Party! We had so much fun getting to know you all and connecting with community members, friends, and families while sharing some of the amazing things we do at SVH. We also loved getting the chance to explore the incredible projects and ideas other schools brought to the event. From engineering and immune systems to robots and community resources, it was such a fun and inspiring learning experience for everyone involved!
