Summer Office Hours

Have a safe and fun summer! We look forward to seeing everyone back on Wednesday, August 26th! Kinders start on Monday, August 31st.

FIELD DAY WAS A BLAST! We had the absolute best day soaking up the sun and running through tons of fun stations!

The ultimate highlight? The kids earned chances to hit the target and send our principals and brave staff members flying into the dunk tank! Huge shoutout to our staff for being such amazing sports! We wrapped things up by cooling down with delicious Otter Pops. A massive thank you to the Brentwood Elementary PTO, volunteers, teachers and staff who helped make field day possible. 🎓✨ ONCE A BEAR, ALWAYS A BEAR! ✨🎓
What a special morning at Brentwood! We loved welcoming back our Class of 2026 Seniors. 🥹❤️ There were so many hugs, happy tears, and trips down memory lane! The seniors caught up with former teachers and staff over breakfast, toured the building to revisit their favorite childhood spots, and put on their caps and gowns for one final walk through the halls. It was such a fun, nostalgic, and beautiful morning celebrating how far these kids have come.

Brentwood is so incredibly proud of the Class of 2026. We can't wait to see all the amazing things they accomplish next! 💙🦅🎉

We had a fun crazy hat day in Room 13 with Mrs. Swenson! The kids found Miss Cary’s hat bag! 😂

Bear Lake Field Trip for 5th graders today! Three rotations: a nature hike, skull, s**t, and footprint identification, and looking at microinvertebrates to see if the health of Bear Lake contains a balance of all three levels. Such a great day!

Our last Golden Bear Buck party was a home run! Our firsties knocked it out of the park with a baseball themed day full of fun and learning. While baseball was the theme, the real lesson was the one we've been practicing all year long: being part of a team! Our classroom works best when we encourage each other, show good sportsmanship, celebrate successes, and help each other through the challenges. Every player matters, and every member of our Cactus Crew has helped make this year so special! Hard to believe our final inning together is almost here, but I know these all-stars are ready for whatever comes next! ~Mrs. Swanson🌵⚾

This year we have 4 Singers, 3 Police Officers, 3 Teachers, 2 Firefighters, 2 First Graders, a Pilot, a Bear, an Astronaut, a Mom, a Mountain Climber, a Vet & a Kindergarten Teacher!! 💛

The future looks bright & we are in good hands with these leaders in training!! 🤩
