Meet Taratel. From Spokane, she came into SCC’s Dental Assisting program determined and is leaving with a job offer she earned through her own externship before graduation day arrived.

Her shoutout goes to Mrs. Norman: “She always goes above and beyond for all of her students and makes sure we finish the program with a job offering.”

Ten years of showing up for students who needed a place to belong.

SFCC’s MOSAIC celebrated its graduating students last week in its 10th Annual Scholars Graduation Ceremony, honoring the journeys that brought them here. From registration to graduation day, the MOSAIC Center and LGBT+ Student Center exist to make sure no student walks through college alone.

Congratulations to every graduate honored at this year’s celebration. We are so proud of you!🎓🙌

Meet Randal. From Spokane, he’s leaving SFCC’s Graphic Design program with five ADDYs from the American Advertising Federation🏅, a growing portfolio, and EWU up next.

His shoutout goes to Katrina Butler: “For pouring unimaginable amounts of effort into her students and always going above and beyond what’s expected of her.”

Favorite memory: His running gag, debating which classmate would win the Hunger Games if they took place on campus.
