The United States Karate-Do Kai Symposium returns July 31 through August 2, 2026, featuring Hanshi Bruce Hielman, 10th Degree Black Belt, along with an outstanding lineup of respected instructors from across the country.

USKA - R.A Trias
Having started the first Karate school in the US and establishing the USKA, O'Sensei Trias is without doubt the Father of Karate in America. Growing up in Phoenix I had the opportunity to train under O'Sensei. USKA headquarters was until his death the mecca of true Old School Martial Artists. Anyone who was anyone regularly came to train or at least help close down the nearby Chinese restaurant.

We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Lucky Phillips will be returning to our dojo again this year!!

Mr. Phillips will be focusing on teaching the fundamental concepts and principles embedded within the wazas and katas of Matsumura Seito Shorin Ryu Koeppel-Ha. This is an incredible opportunity to deepen your understanding of this revered martial art style.
