AIC is closed today in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day.

Earlier this week, our campus community gathered on the Quad for a Juneteenth cookout filled with food, games, and time together.

As we reflect on the significance of this day, we honor the resilience, history, and progress that Juneteenth represents, while recognizing the ongoing journey toward equality and justice for all.

American International College has launched its Public Safety Leadership Academy, an intensive professional development program designed for law enforcement leaders.

The first two cohorts, both from the Springfield Police Department , have completed the week-long training focused on leadership, decision-making, and operational readiness.

Three additional sessions are scheduled for later this summer.

Congratulations to AIC Dean of Academic Pathways and Learning Innovation Emilie Clucas Leaderman, co-author of the forthcoming book Relationship-Centered Assessment in Higher Education: A Model for Leadership and Practice. The book, now listed on the Routledge website with a September 2026 pre-order date, introduces the RARE Model (Relate, Affirm, Readiness, Embolden) and focuses on strengthening relational approaches in assessment work across higher education.
