Hi Blackhurst families!
Below is the enrollment information for the 2026-2027 school year:
✏️Kindergarten registration and
New student enrollment: https://www.stcharlessd.org/enroll/new-student-enrollment
🚌🏡Annual Residency Reverification Begins July 1-22
Starting with the 2026–2027 school year, all returning SCSD K-12 families will complete residency reverification each year. In the past, this process was required only at certain grade levels. This update helps ensure accurate enrollment and consistent processes across all schools. (Please note, ECC families have a different enrollment process.)
Residency reverification is the process of confirming your family’s current address.
Online Reverification
The online reverification window will open July 1 and close July 22. Families will receive an email with a link to complete the process.
After July 22, reverification must be completed in person.
In-Person Reverification Events
If you do not complete your reverification online, or if you have affidavits that need to be signed, you may attend one of the following events at Jefferson Intermediate School:
Wednesday, July 29, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, August 4, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Spanish translators will be available. If your family needs support in another language, please let us know so arrangements can be made.
What This Means for Your Family
Only one person per family needs to complete reverification, even if children attend multiple schools.
Documentation only needs to be submitted once per family.
Families will be notified once documents are reviewed and approved.
If a residency affidavit is required, the homeowner or lessee must attend in person with valid identification.
Families who do not complete reverification by August 4, 2026, may experience a delay in their child’s first day of school.
Required Documentation
Families must submit one document from List A (proof of residence) and one from List B (supporting document) to verify residency.
List A includes items like a lease, mortgage, real estate contract or insurance policy.
List B includes items like a recent utility bill, bank or credit card statement, voter registration or tax receipt.

If you recently moved, you may submit a utility service verification letter and provide a bill within 30 days. Updated documents are required if any expire before August 1.

See the SCSD website for a complete list of required documents: https://www.stcharlessd.org/enroll/reverification

👑To celebrate the end of the first grade ELA unit, Cinderella Stories, First Grade had a Ball! It was as magical as it sounds!
👑King Dr. Lewis and King Dr. Draper were waiting at the end of the red carpet and gifted the first grade prince and princesses with a sash.
👸Cinderella made a guest appearance and read a magical story.
🏰The first grade royalty read their own stories to their friends while enjoying a treat.
🪩Their ball wouldn’t be complete without dancing. They danced with friends and had so much fun!👑
