All Ranken College locations will be closed on June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. We join in honoring this important day of freedom, reflection, and remembrance.

This year’s theme for the 19th Annual Fountain Park & Centennial Juneteenth Community Celebration serves as a meaningful reminder of the importance of honoring history, strengthening community, and creating opportunities for future generations.

At Ranken, we believe education can change lives and help build stronger futures for individuals, families, and communities. We’re proud to be part of this year’s celebration and grateful for the opportunity to connect with the community in Fountain Park.

The family-friendly event takes place Saturday, June 20 beginning at 1 p.m. and will feature youth activities, food vendors, and live entertainment throughout the day.

Plumbing Technology Instructor Mr. Mahr recently organized a student basketball tournament that brought students together through teamwork, healthy competition, and community.

Whether they're completing a plumbing project or competing on the court, Ranken students are building skills that will serve them well in their careers and beyond.

Students in the HVAC program at Ranken Technical College - Southeast recently completed a hands-on project in their Mechanical Applications class, where they learned to create the copper piping connections commonly used throughout the HVAC industry.

From brazing and soldering to precision craftsmanship, the skills they're learning in class help prepare students for the real-world work they'll encounter in the field.

What is a Golden Graduate? 🎓🌟

Each year at Ranken, we honor alumni who graduated 50 years ago or more as our Golden Graduates. These remarkable alumni join us during our commencement ceremony to reconnect, share memories, and celebrate alongside the newest class of Ranken graduates.

Golden Graduates take part in a special breakfast (and a walk down memory lane) before participating in the commencement ceremony, reminding us that the skills, work ethic, and determination gained at Ranken continue to make an impact for decades.
