The Bridge the Gap314 Juneteenth Parade & Festival was an unforgettable celebration of community, culture, and connection!

We had the opportunity to meet and engage with so many incredible families along the parade route, share the vision of North County Innovative School, and connect with families who are excited about the future of education in North County.

🎙️ I had the pleasure of joining Radio Personality Queen Mocha Latte for a live Coffee Talk interview where we shared more about the NCIS mission and our commitment to serving students and families.

💦 The Eagle Splash Challenge brought the energy! There was a line of community members ready to “Dunk an Eagle” while supporting our vision. 🪣🦅

The best part? Families were excited to learn about the new charter school coming to North County — and we even had families complete interest forms on the spot!🙌🏾

Today, our school founder turns 48.

As I reflect on another year of life, I'm reminded that the greatest gifts aren't the ones we receive, they're the opportunities we create for others.

So instead of asking for birthday gifts, I'm asking for something different.

My birthday challenge is simple:

We're looking for 48 Virtual Camp Ambassadors to help us go door to door virtually by spreading the word over the next 7 days.
