The Northeast PTO Garden Committee is thrilled to share that they have been named as a City of Stamford 2026 Community Micro-Grant Award recipient 🎉🌱🪏 This year, the committee applied for funds to create two pollinator gardens at Northeast, one in front of the school and another behind it. Both gardens were mapped to be full of native, perennial, pollinator-friendly plants, officially putting Northeast Elementary School on the Pollinator Pathway 🦋🐝🌸🌻

We’re pleased to announce that our first pollinator garden (behind the school) is already underway after 3rd Grade students prepped and filled the beds with soil last week and then transplanted 30 native plants into them. We can't wait to see all that blooms in the gardens for years to come, thanks to the planning, planting, maintenance, and care students put into the space. Special thanks to .farms for their continued support with our pollinator garden efforts!

New Northeast Merch Is In!

We have new Spirit Wear in stock! Soft T’s 👕 are here just in time for the summer. ☀️ Merch will be available at our Year End Social - Friday June 12th. (We’ll set up an order form for those who can’t make the Social, so keep your eyes peeled. 👀)

Join us for some end of year fun this Friday from 6-7:30pm in the Northeast Cafeteria and Gymnasium for lots of games, music, pizza, and ice cream!
