College of Staten Island Alumni Association

On June 15th,2026 the College of Staten Island Alumni Association Board of Directors held our Annual Meeting to end the 2025-2026 year at the CSI Campus Center Park Cafe. The night included a delicious dinner served by CSI’s Dining Services team and a recap of all the Board’s successes and highlights of the year.

We gave a bittersweet farewell to Board Member, Board Development Committee Chair, and Secretary, Anthony Rubin for his 5 years of service on the board. His years of dedication and commitment were beyond appreciated and we look forward to staying connected.

In addition, the board welcomed new members to the 2026-2027
CSIAA Board of Directors, including Alexandra Quinteros, Luke Katz and Richard Maldonado.

We also welcomed newly elected Maureen Higgins as CSIAA Secretary, and Randi Leibson as CSIAA second Vice President. Vincent Argenziano was re-elected as Treasurer, and Elizabeth Nieto was officially elected as President, after serving as interim for the prior year. Lauren Giordanella will remain in her seat as first Vice President.

🌊 World Ocean Day 🫍

The College of Staten Island Alumni Association was proud to participate in a beach cleanup on June 7 at Page Avenue Beach in recognition of World Ocean Day.

We extend our sincere gratitude to John Kilcullen and Carmine Raimondi of the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation for their partnership and support in coordinating this meaningful event.

A special thank you to our alumni, as well as the friends and family members who joined us in this community service effort. Your dedication and enthusiasm helped make the day a tremendous success.

It was inspiring to come together on a beautiful day to contribute to the preservation of our local environment and help keep Staten Island’s beaches clean for everyone to enjoy. Events like these demonstrate the power of community engagement and our shared responsibility to protect the natural resources that enrich our borough.

This past weekend, the College of Staten Island Alumni Association had the pleasure of volunteering at the Admitted Student Conference, welcoming the next generation of College of Staten Island (CSI) Dolphins.

It was incredibly rewarding to greet incoming students and their families as they begin this exciting new chapter. What made the experience even more special was seeing so many parents who are proud CSI alumni!! a powerful reminder that our community spans generations and continues to grow stronger.

Moments like these reflect the true impact of our alumni network. By showing up, sharing our experiences, and offering support, we help foster a sense of belonging before students even step into their first class.

We are seeking motivated, community driven, and diverse alumni who are ready to give back and help strengthen a network of more than 80,000 graduates. Serving on the board is a unique opportunity to engage with fellow alumni, support the College, and make a lasting impact in our community.

We are especially looking for alumni with experience in:
• Accounting
• Social Media
• Event Planning
• Grant Writing

Board Member Commitment includes:
▪️ In-person meetings on the 2nd or 3rd Monday of each month (September–June)
▪️ Participation in alumni events and community sponsorships throughout the year
▪️ A three-year term of service
