🌊 What a great day of learning!
Our Harbor View students had an amazing time at Robinson Beach exploring marine life, learning about coastal restoration, and getting their hands wet (literally!) with real-world science. 🐚
From spotting sea creatures to seeing how Living Breakwaters help protect our shoreline, it was a day full of curiosity, teamwork, and discovery.
We’re so grateful to The Sandy Ground Historical Society, Billion Oyster Project, and the American Museum of Natural History for giving our students this incredible opportunity—we couldn’t have done it without you!

Celebrating our artists! Our Kindergarten artwork is about to go live in Times Square!

Our Harbor View Soap Box Derby Team has been working hard putting STEM into action—designing and building their very own mini derby cars, complete with creative logo designs!

As Isaac Newton said, “My powers are ordinary. Only my application brings me success.”

We saw this firsthand. Wheels popped off, parts went missing, and challenges came up—but our students stayed focused, problem-solved, and kept going until they succeeded.

✨ Congratulations to Our Class of 2026! ✨

Yesterday we celebrated an incredible milestone for our Class of 2026! We are so proud of each and every student for your hard work, growth, and achievements. As you move forward, we know you will continue to shine and make a difference wherever your journey takes you.

A special thank you to our inspiring alumni speaker, Ndiame Diouck, Class of 2019, for returning to share his story. Ndiame spoke about the strong foundation he built during his elementary years here, and how those experiences supported his success through middle and high school. He reflected on the unforgettable field experiences and hands-on projects that shaped his love for learning, reminding our graduates of the lasting impact of their time at our school.

We were also honored to welcome our keynote speaker, Anthony Lodico, former District 31 Superintendent. Mr. Lodico shared heartfelt memories of when our school first opened and how much it has grown over the years. He highlighted our commitment to project-based learning and our unique maritime focus, even noting how he hears from neighbors about the meaningful experiences their children have had, especially through participation in the Billion Oyster Project.

Class of 2026, you carry forward a legacy of curiosity, creativity, and community. We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next.
