White Salmon FFA is hosting a Goat Fit & Show Clinic, and 4-H families are invited!

If your kiddo is ready to sharpen their goat showmanship and fitting skills, this hands-on day is a great chance to get real practice from halter all the way to the ring.

🐐 Goat Fit & Show Clinic 📅 Saturday, June 13, 2026

📍 Columbia High School Land Lab

💲 $40 per participant

Tentative Schedule 10:00 AM–12:30 PM — Showmanship

12:30–1:15 PM — Lunch on your own

1:20–4:00 PM — Fitting

This clinic walks participants through goat fitting and show prep with practical, real-world instruction to help them put their best animal forward. Spots are capped at 20 so everyone gets quality, hands-on time, so don't wait to grab a spot

Help us congratulate Colton 🥳 Colton focused on the Poultry and Small Engines projects during his time in 4-H, in addition to providing leadership for his club, Hilltop Livestock. Colton shares that 4-H has been a great way to get involved in the community and he's had a lot of fun showing his various projects. Following graduation, Colton is joining the Navy! Congratulations Colton, we can't wait to see what your future holds!

Our next round of celebrations is for Cadence 🥳 Cadence has raised dairy goats, novelty goats, breed and market chickens, and entered a variety of projects in the exhibit hall over the years. Cadence is already working towards finishing AADTA with a concentration in American Sign Language at Clark, and then will transfer to WSU-V to pursue a BA in Elementary Education. Cadence has grown into a leader through 4-H and FCCLA. She loves her animals and wants to go to WSU Vancouver so she can continue to care for them. Through Running Start she has earned 89 college credits and will graduate summa cm laude with highest honors! Awesome job Cadence, we're so excited for what your future will bring!

Hooray for our next amazing graduate 🥳Cayden has done with market swine and market steer projects during her time in 4-H. This Fall, she'll be attending the University of Arizona in Tucson. Cayden is turning her love for animals into a career, and will be majoring in Animal Science with the goal of becoming a large animal veterinarian! Congrats Cayden, we're so very proud of you!

It's time to celebrate our graduating 4-H'ers! 🥳Frankie has raised Chickens, Turkeys, Dairy Goats, and Sheep during her 4-H tenure. She is headed to the University of Washington to study Elementary Education. Frankie loved her 14 years in 4-H! Her favorite part of participating in 4-H was working with the younger kids in her club, caring for her animals, and the friendships she made throughout the years. Congrats Frankie, we're so proud of you!
