Congratulations to the apprentice graduates who completed the 5-year program with the San Joaquin & Calaveras Counties Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee (JATC) for the Electrical Trades.

Apprenticeships combine paid work experience with classroom instruction, allowing participants to earn while they learn as they prepare for careers in high-demand industries.

⚠️ Delta Students: An ongoing cybersecurity incident involving Canvas is affecting colleges and universities across the country, including Delta College.

We are still assessing the situation but here’s what we know now:

The company that runs Canvas has taken it down, and access from Okta (MyDelta Dashboard) has been disabled as a precaution.

We know this is a stressful situation. Please know that Delta College faculty are aware of the situation and we will work with faculty to make adjustments to assignment due dates and final exams. Thank you for your patience as we work through this situation.

The 2026 CTE Certificate Ceremony begins at 6:00 PM at the Warren Atherton Auditorium (Locke Building).

We look forward to celebrating the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our Career Technical Education students. 💛
 
Quick reminders:
• Doors open at 5:30 PM
• Seating is first come, first served
• Tickets are FREE and distributed at the door
• Students should arrive between 4:45–5:00 PM for check-in and staging
