Pioneers find ways to have fun with their friends, rain or shine! Despite the gloomy weather during Field Day last week, students including our 2nd and 3rd Graders enjoyed snacks and activities like bubble-making and temporary tattoos to celebrate the end of the school year.
This was a year full of memorable learning opportunities and bonding opportunities for students in all grade levels. We look forward to welcoming our Pioneers back to school after they enjoy some well deserved time off this summer!

Our 8th Graders have made Mable Barron a wonderful place for students and staff throughout their time here. Last night, we celebrated their academic achievements, inspiring leadership and kindness at the 2026 Promotion Ceremony. 48 students were promoted from the Class of 2026, including 15 who have been at Mable Baron from Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
Congratulations to all our promoting Pioneers who will go on to make many more special memories in high school!

Books take us to exciting new places while introducing us to unforgettable characters and inspiring real-life figures! Throughout the month of April, Mr. Nevin welcomes students of all grade levels to the Mable Barron library so they can check out books, including new additions highlighting countries around the world. Many of our younger Pioneers are also enjoying books with their classmates through Mr. Nevin's story time sessions.

TK students finished their animal studies unit with a special shelled visitor! Mrs. Dale's class observed a tortoise last Friday, and even got to watch her eat her favorite food: dandelions. Our Pioneers practiced their active listening skills while learning how old tortoises get and where they live.
