Cesar Chavez High School has selected Shoob Photography as our official photographer for Senior Portraits and school pictures. All Class of 2027 yearbook portraits will be taken by Shoob.

SUMMER SESSIONS ARE RECOMMENDED
Summer Sessions offer more time with the photographer and a relaxed pace not possible at picture days during the school day. You’ll have time for outfit changes, multiple poses, and portraits that celebrate your senior year.

Summer is also the only time parents may attend, and Shoob’s staff will be there to help you choose packages and answer questions in person.

Portraits can be scheduled at Shoobphoto.com.
Summer Sessions are not free. They start at $29.95 (up to $79.95). Free sittings are available once school starts, and any student who does not schedule a summer session will be photographed then.

Please note: Cap and gown photos and changes of clothing are not available during school-day sessions.

WHAT TO WEAR
Cesar Chavez High School requires formal dress for all pictures to be used in the yearbook.
Girls: Black drape is the standard dress for girls. Shoob will provide them.
Boys: Black tuxedo, white shirt and bow tie are required for boys. Shoob will provide them.
Shoob will also provide Cesar Chavez High School cap & gowns.

Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the hard work, talent, and musical achievements of our students alongside one of the most respected mariachi ensembles in the country.

Doors Open: 5:30 p.m.
Concert Begins: 6:30 p.m.

SUSD Summer Reading Challenge Reading is Jawsome begins on Monday, June 1st. Read an average of 10 minutes a day of 600 minutes this summer to earn a sweet treat and fun incentives. All students and staff are invited to join. For more information https://tinyurl.com/susdlibrary

As per our ASB Constitution, because no candidate met the majority vote, the top two candidates of each race will compete in a special runoff election exclusively at lunch time on Monday, May 18, 2026 in the Main Quad under the Leadership tents.

ONLY CURRENT JUNIORS will be allowed to vote for the Class of 2027 Presidential Race featuring Alexandra Maciel and Erick Miranda.

ONLY CURRENT SOPHOMORES will be allowed to vote for the Class of 2028 Vice-Presidential Race between Fatima Noreen and Ayden Vasquez. (all candidates listed alphabetically by last name)

Please be prepared to give your name/ID number so you can be signed off for voting.
