Did you know that Professor Sadie Glass, Horn is also one of the 4 inaugural faculty ambassadors for The Alphorn Project nationwide? Professor Glass, natural horn expert & program director for Pacific's brass-percussion, founded the Pacific Alphorn Ensemble which put Pacific on the map as a flagship site for the Alphorn Project. Our alumna & renowned mezzo-soprano Irene Roberts '06 (BM, music performance) talks about her upcoming debut as Isolde in Richard Wagner's "Parsifal" @ Tiroler Festspiele Erl, Germany. Roberts has sung in the most esteemed venues including, San Francisco Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, The Metropolitan Opera, Opera Rara in London, Teatro La Fenice in Venice & many more. Toi, toi, toi!

Conservatory faculty are active performers who often collaborate on musical projects. Last spring, Prof. Brittany Trotter (flute) & Prof. Jonathan Latta (percussion) played on Prof. Andrew Conklin’s “Advanced Metrics.” Sound was recorded, mixed & mastered in the on-campus studio by students from the Recording Audio Production class under the supervision of Prof. Andrew Mell.

An accomplished performer & educator, Professor Zhang has performed across the globe, his students have been accepted to many prestigious schools of music in the U.S.

Welcome back Raquel Ravaglioli '14! Raquel graduated from Pacific with Bachelor of Music degrees in music therapy & music performance. She'll join the Conservatory this fall as associate professor of practice and coordinator of music therapy & experiential learning.
