From 1983 to present day, Simalee Smith‑Stubblefield has been a guiding light for Pacific’s SLP students as a gifted professor, a trusted mentor, and a champion for our program. The scholarship created in her honor continues that legacy by supporting students who embody her passion and commitment.

Our alumni association has always been the heartbeat of our SLP community, sponsoring our CSHA breakfast, hosting the Welcome Back/Dine & Discover event, and creating meaningful connections across generations of clinicians.

The Pacific SLP Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship celebrates a student who shares that mission through service, leadership, NSSLHA involvement, and academic excellence. Our SLP community is stronger because of caring SLPs like Paula Alm and because of alumni like you. The Paula Alm Memorial Scholarship honors her dedication to mentoring students at the Pacific clinic and supports graduate students who share her passion for serving adolescents and young adults.

We’re calling on alumni who knew Paula, learned from her, or benefitted from her scholarship to help us reach 20 donors and unlock a $1,000 challenge gift from Associate Dean Jeannene Ward‑Lonergan. Your contribution, in any amount, keeps Paula’s legacy alive in the next generation of clinicians.
