🐬 Did you know each grade has its own Facebook group that stays together all the way through senior year?
Simply search your child’s graduating class year (like 2036) along with “Dickinson” or “Dolphins” to find your group’s page and connect with other families!
Our Future Kindergarten Dolphins have an upcoming playdate, and we’d love to see as many new families there as possible. 💙🐬✨

This week’s roster addition is ready to make an impact! As one of our Innovative School Day Paraprofessionals, Ms. Arcement will help lead and support our STEAM program during the first nine weeks as part of the Innovative School Day program. We’re excited to have her join Team Dickinson and look forward to all she will bring to our Dolphin family!
I am a recent graduate of Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, Louisiana, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I am excited to be a Dickinson Dolphin and meet all of the students who will be in my classroom. I have had a passion for teaching since high school. The students I worked with during my student teaching experiences at LCU provided some of my greatest memories from college and helped solidify my decision to become a teacher.
A few fun facts about me: I love art, music, and reading. I also enjoy leading worship and am a huge fan of dad jokes!
I can’t wait to meet everyone!

🐬🏆 Dolphin Summer Adventure Challenge! 🏆🐬
Dolphins, we want to see where your summer adventures are taking you!
I'm kicking off our Dolphin Summer Adventure Challenge by sharing a picture from my visit to the Statue of Liberty! 🗽
Now it's your turn! Students, staff, and families—post a picture in the comments showing where you've been this summer. Whether you're visiting a famous landmark, exploring a new city, enjoying a local park, or spending time with family, we want to celebrate your adventures!
As we get ready for our new sports-themed school year, remember that great athletes and great learners are always exploring, growing, and trying new things. Every adventure helps us build experiences that make us stronger teammates and learners!
📸 Share your photo in the comments and tell us:
🏅 Where are you?
🏅 What was your favorite part of the trip or adventure?
Let's see how far our Dolphins have traveled!

🏈🐬 Calling all Dolphin families! 🐬🏈
Help us build our championship team for next year! If you have a new Dolphin joining us, please complete enrollment as soon as possible. Early enrollment helps us plan ahead and ensure we have the best teachers, staff, and support in place for every student.
The sooner our roster is set, the better prepared we'll be for a winning school year! 🎉
Thank you for being part of our Dolphin team—we can't wait to welcome our newest players to the field! 💙🐬

Congratulations to Lyndsey Canales on your promotion to School Counselor! While we're excited for this new chapter, there's no doubt you'll be greatly missed by our Dolphin staff family. 🐬
Like any great athlete moving up to the next level, you've inspired, encouraged, and supported so many students along the way. Thank you for being such an important part of our school. We wish you all the success in your new role—once a Dolphin, always a Dolphin! 💙🐬

Coach Rice and her sidekick (runner) 😂 Coach Reese, put on an amazing inservice right here at Dickinson! This is our second year presenting and we have doubled in size, from last year, of different PE coaches from around the district that attended. We had about 40 coaches from all over Lamar CISD join us today. There is nothing better than all of us educators getting together to grow. It’s not just about teaching… it’s about learning and leaning on others to make our schools better for our kids. No coach ever stops learning. That’s what makes good coaches GREAT. They strive to learn everyday and they never stop asking questions. What a pleasure it was for Coach Rice and Coach Reese to share what they love!
