The Lea Armstrong Scholarship Fund seeks to provide financial support to single parents seeking high education in Pierce County. From 1995-2000 Ms. Ms.

Armstrong served on the Board of Trustees for Green River Community College. While serving on the Board, Lea realized how challenging it was for single parents to attend college while simultaneously taking care of children and working. Just in case you have not heard, the Pierce County Human Service Department manages a Rental Assistance program. If you are worried about unpaid rent, please take action NOW, before the end of the Eviction Moratorium.
