Transformation. 💫 Reflection. 10 years ago, I found myself in Santiago de Compostela, and my life took an unexpected turn. Back then, I had just completed my first Camino, a 500-mile, month-long journey through northern Spain 🇪🇸. That experience was a wake-up call. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I was drained, despondent, and frustrated. It wasn’t because of my patients; it was our broken healthcare system. Those steps on ‘The Way,’ as the Camino pilgrimage is known, marked the beginning: • Building self-trust • Being okay with leaving my career, despite years of hard work Was it scary? Absolutely. Was it impossible? To be determined. In two years, I erased my student loan debt, refined my money strategy, and started investing (although not without a few costly mistakes). I quit my job, planning to take a year off. That ‘year’ turned into retirement - I didn’t return to NP work for nearly five years! During that time: 🏠 I rented my home 🌎 Traveled the world 💕 Spent precious moments with family 🎤 Started a business–adventure storytelling show that toured the USA and Canada 🚶♀️ And I hiked, over 5,000 miles, including the PCT, West Highland Way, Te Araroa, and more. Now, a decade later, I’m back at Santiago Cathedral, completing Camino I’m grateful to my younger self for taking that leap. I’ve crafted a life I love: 🔓 Surrounded by family 🔓 Working by choice, not necessity 🔓 Prioritizing what matters most 🔓 Free from financial stress Now, I’m here to teach nurses and APRNs the money steps to achieve this. No more expensive mistakes; take control of your career and work on your terms. Is it scary? Probably. Is it impossible? Absolutely not. Are you ready to find your way with money as a nurse? Let’s talk. If you’re on my email list and not already in my program, go take the training I sent you yesterday. If not, DM me ‘money control.’ ~Angel 💚
