Our VPK classroom~
We had such a special day in our classroom today! We kicked things off with a beautiful (and very adorable!) wedding ceremony between the letters Q and U. Each student represented a letter of the alphabet.
Our Q and U “wedding” is a fun and memorable way to help children learn that the letter Q is almost always followed by U in words like queen, quick, and quilt. Turning this phonics rule into a playful, hands-on experience helps make learning both meaningful and exciting for our little learners.
