The feelings we experienced this week were truly special. How could they not be, when we were learning about one of the most important stories in the Seerah: the Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

We started with the idea that Hijrah is a sunnah, and explored key lessons: choosing a righteous companion for life’s journey like Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (RA), and the generosity and warmth of the people of Medina in welcoming the Muhajirun.

All of this was in celebration of the new Islamic Hijri year 1448 AH 🌙
