To trick myself into organizing this cabinet that’s collected 2 years of random stuff, I told myself I’d turn it into a reel so I’d stay on track!
Body doubling is a great ADHD strategy where having someone there (even just virtually) helps you focus and actually get things done. It’s also why students magically focus during tutoring sessions! 😋

I made this workbook to help make early learning feel simple and fun at home. It includes the same foundational skills I focus on in my tutoring sessions in a way that feels playful and easy for little learners!
A few minutes here and there over the summer can help build confidence and take some of the pressure off that first school experience for both kids and parents 💕

Parents often ask what their child should know before the first day of kindergarten.
Here are a few of the most important skills:
• Recognize and write their first name
• Identify letters and letter sounds
• Count to 20 and recognize numbers
• Hold a pencil correctly
• Use scissors and glue
• Follow directions
• Sit and focus for short activities
• Take turns and ask for help
The good news is that these skills can be practiced in fun ways over the summer!
A little preparation now can help your child start kindergarten feeling confident and ready to learn.
