Getting inspired for next year’s global theme: Italy! 🇮🇹 This summer, SMEDS Art teacher Mrs. Hoy is participating in a 9-hour professional development workshop exploring new artistic techniques. Did you know that Murano glass, created on the island of Murano near Venice since 1291, is world-renowned for its brilliant colors, intricate designs, and master craftsmanship? We’re excited to see her creations! ⚜️

Summer Saints “Epic American Birthday Week” is a star-spangled celebration as we honor 250 years of America! From patriotic games and red, white, and blue crafts to festive activities and plenty of summer fun, our campers will show their American spirit all week long! ⚜️ ☀️

Some of the ‘Saints of Summer’ making us proud! Abby, Anna, Ellie, and Waylyn, all SMEDS ‘29, are on the Tampa Bayshore All Stars (8-10) District Champions team, coached by SMEDS dads Eric Kuschel and Matt Stefany, while Eliza ‘29 is on the Tampa Bayshore (9-11) All Star Champs! And recent grads Trey Klatt and Chance Hart (both ‘26) made Jesuit’s Freshman summer league team! Go All Stars and Go Tigers!

Creativity, leadership, and teamwork were on full display for another exciting week at Summer Saints Junior CIT camp!
Our CITs drafted the ultimate counselors to compete in scenario battles, designed and tested Minute to Win It games, and even led the activities they created with younger campers! They also stepped into the role of Camp Experience Designers, developing original camp themes, activities, events, decorations, and t-shirt designs before pitching their ideas to Mrs. Fingar, the Director of Summer Saints. Who knows? Their ideas might just help shape future Summer Saints camp experiences! ✨️
