As Bay Hope Church RIOT continued serving alongside us this week, we are amazed by all that was accomplished through their hard work, enthusiasm, and servant hearts.

These students and leaders tackled a variety of projects that will have a lasting impact on our campus and the children we serve. On Monday, the playground got a much needed facelift of fresh mulch…on Tuesday, the team created a brick border along a campus walkway, an improvement that will help prevent flooding and enhance the safety and appearance of the area for years to come with an afternoon alongside the children. On Wednesday, the teams spent the majority of time with our Next Gen Camp children, playing games, reading Bible stories, building relationships, and helping campers continue learning about our camp theme, "Things That Fly." Their energy and encouragement made the day even more special for our young learners.
Our Thursday crew continued the momentum by helping revamp and complete our Care Packages for Kids project, ensuring children and families receive resources and encouragement when they need them most. We had a team also at our Communty Garden, helping with needs there, and again, an afternoon enjoyed by all with the kids attending our Next Gen children’s camp.

We truly appreciate not only the projects completed, but the joy, kindness, and Christ-centered example they brought each day. Their willingness to serve wherever needed has been a true blessing to our staff, families, and ministry overall. They remind us that serving others is one of the most powerful ways we can share God's love.

Thank you, Bay Hope for choosing to invest in our children, our campus, and our community.

To top it all off, it was an honor to attend the final assembly of and witness 50+ students get baptiized last night!

We are incredibly grateful as well for the Bay Hope RIOT teams who are serving this week at the Rosa Valdez Center at Oak Grove! 🙌💙

What a blessing it has been to see these students and leaders put their faith into action through service. Bay Hope Church brought supplies that support our Next Gen Camp theme this week, "Things That Fly," and material to tackle much-needed projects around our Oak Grove location -- they are making a meaningful impact on our campus and in the lives of our children.

Yesterday, the team brought & spread fresh mulch across the playground, helping create a safe, welcoming space where children can learn, play, and grow.

We thank God for the hands and hearts that are serving so faithfully this week. Their willingness to show up, work hard, and love their neighbors reflects the heart of Christ and reminds us of the power of serving together.

A Huge Thank You to Hyde Park Students! 💙

We are so grateful to the amazing group of students from Hyde Park UMC for spending time serving with us this week!
Not only did they generously bring items to support our camp theme of the week, "Things That Fly," helping make the experience even more exciting for our campers, but they also rolled up their sleeves and got to work in the garden area and other items at our Rosa Valdez Learning Center in Old West Tampa that needed some TLC! From weeding to planting, to cleaning, their hard work helped beautify and strengthen a space that our kids enjoy every day!
