From curiosity to discovery. 🔬
USF undergraduate researchers are tackling real-world challenges and sharing their findings with the scientific community. From studying the effects of chemical damage and it’s impacts on eye vision, to exploring new solutions, these students are gaining hands-on experience while making an impact.
Opportunities like these help shape the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.

USF Global Citizens Project
The goal of the Global Citizens Project is to prepare our students for success in a global society during their time at USF.
Through a more globalized general education curriculum, culturally engaging campus events, and an award encouraging students to get involved as Global Citizens, the aim is to enhance global knowledge, skills, and abilities through these new or improved programs and opportunities.
Research starts with curiosity—and grows through opportunity.
Meet Owen and Alex, undergraduate researchers in the College of Arts & Sciences, sharing their work and gaining hands-on experience that extends far beyond the classroom.
Experiences like these help students develop the skills, confidence, and connections that shape future discoveries.

This month we recognise Dr. Holly Singh-Associate Professor of Instruction at the Judy Genshaft Honors College. Dr. Singh has mentored numerous undergraduate interdisciplinary student projects that were presented at the USF Undergraduate Research Conference in the past few years. Also, her book Infertility in a Crowded Country that addresses stigmas surrounding infertility in India has just been published this week. We are grateful for Dr. Singh’s mentorship and scholarship. Check the link in bio to read her take on the value of undergraduate research mentorship.
