Today, Cristo Rey Tampa Salesian High School proudly dedicated the 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗵 & 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗴— a lasting tribute to the late Dr. Joseph Liang and a powerful investment in the future of our students.

This dedication is more than a ceremony. It is a reminder of what becomes possible when generous hearts align with a bold mission.

As Principal Kelly Larson shared:

Dr. Liang’s legacy will live on in every student who walks through these doors — students who will learn not just to solve equations, but to tackle life’s greatest challenges with resilience and purpose.

Presented at each Cristo Rey school, this award is named after Fr. Foley’s Cristo Rey Credo and honors a staff member or team who demonstrates exemplary performance, outstanding results, and a mission-driven spirit of outrageously bold hope.

This year, we celebrate not only our Cristo Rey Tampa alumni graduating from colleges and universities across the country, but also our very own Principal Kelly Larson, who earned her 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 through the Catholic Leadership Cohort.
