"I have that (fish toy) at home," said the soon-to-be second grader as he fished in our fun fishing pool at the Discovery Science Lab with Realtimesteam at Phoenix Fan Fusion.
"You do?" we asked in total disbelief
"Yes, I do. It's a razorback sucker"

You could have knocked us over with a feather!

We asked his dad where he went to school and Dad said the school's name. Sure enough, we taught Sharing Tails at that school when the little lad was in kindgergarten!!!

We'll just say it -- winning!!!

And as always, we can't do this without our teachers' support too!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Desert pupfish!!!

Desert pupfish are among the toughest fish on Earth. They can survive water temperatures exceeding 100°F (38°C) and tolerate salinities nearly twice as salty as seawater. Conditions that would kill most fish.

Because they evolved in isolated desert springs, marshes, and desert rivers where conditions can change dramatically, they developed an incredible ability to withstand heat, low oxygen, and high salinity.
