With gratitude for his many gifts to the Prep community, Fordham Prep mourns the passing of Rev. Joseph P. Parkes, SJ. Fr. Parkes served as President from 1997-2004 and was inducted into the Hall of Honor in 2017.

Seniors visited the Stonewall National Monument and the Museum of New York City this spring as part of Liberation Literature Honors. One student reflected:
"It is very important that we don't forget about history and what people fought for, as they are the reason why we have made so much progress."

Cibrowski, a broadcast news veteran and award-winning journalist, is the President and Executive Editor of CBS News. He will be joined by moderator Marc Gabelli '86, Vice Chairman & President of the Gabelli Group.
This engaging discussion will examine the issues facing media today, and touch on how they relate to the Jesuit values of faith, scholarship, and service.

Results of the Prep's Student Government elections for the next academic year are in: Congratulations to those who will be taking on these leadership roles!
Executive (Senior) Branch:
Ryan Malloy will serve as President, Ryan Martyn will serve as Vice President; Kevin Neary, Dylan Saladino, Aidan Pymm and Steven Escano will all serve as Cabinet Members.
Junior Student Government: Max Alaimo will serve as President, Andres Guedez will serve as Vice President, Quinn Brogan will serve as Secretary and Erian Abreu will serve as Publicist.
Sophomore Student Government: Nathaniel Cobblah will serve as President, Leonard Madu will serve as Vice President, Tim Holdman will serve as Secretary and Liam Donaghy will serve as Publicist.

Fordham Preparatory School held its 181st Commencement Exercises on May 27 at St. Patrick's Cathedral, New York City.
Rev. James Coughlin, SJ opened the ceremony with an invocation, followed by the speaker for the graduates, Gianni Fava-Pastilha '26. Joanne Geraghty P'26, Chief Executive Officer, JetBlue Airways addressed the graduates. Principal Joseph Petriello, PhD '98 presented the graduates, and President Anthony Day conferred diplomas to all 240 graduates.
A few tears, many smiles, and much praise for four years well done. Congratulations to each member of the fine Class of 2026.

As we prepare to celebrate the Class of 2026, we honor the families whose ties to Fordham Prep remind us that some bonds truly last for generations. Graduation is not simply an ending. It is the continuation of a story — one that began long before these seniors arrived on campus and will continue long after they leave it.
