✨ Mini-Principal for a Day! ✨

As we continue sharing some of our favorite end-of-year memories, we’re highlighting one of our incredible Mini-Principals! This first grader earned the opportunity by saving her positive behavior points throughout the year as part of our PBIS system, and she absolutely rocked it!

She wasn’t afraid to jump right in, confidently using the walkie-talkie and happily traveling from room to room to observe the amazing teaching and learning happening throughout Hunters Glen.

☀️ Summer Play Date Update ☀️

Due to weather, Tuesday’s Summer Play Date was cancelled and has a new plan to meet up tomorrow!

HGE families are invited to another parent organized summer play date on Friday, June 5th at Westminster Nature Park! This is a great chance for students to reconnect, play, and enjoy some summer fun together. 🛝

Even though summer has officially begun, we’re still celebrating some of our favorite end of year moments! ☀️🎓

Today we’re celebrating our 5th Grade Continuation and the incredible students who are moving on to middle school. We are so proud of the growth, leadership, resilience, and memories this group has brought to our school community over the years.

Once a Bear, always a Bear! 🐻❤️ We can’t wait to see all of the amazing things our 5th graders accomplish in this next chapter.

A friendly reminder to our Hunters Glen neighbors that the Adams 12 Summer BASE Program is hosted at Hunters Glen Elementary throughout the summer.

Students will be using the playground, fields, and outdoor spaces during the day. When BASE students are outside, the playground and play areas are reserved for program use and are closed to community members.

We also ask that all dogs remain on a leash while on school grounds to help keep everyone safe.

Thank you for helping us provide a safe and fun summer experience for our students while being great neighbors. We appreciate your support!

Congratulations to this year's Hunters Glen PTO Scholarship winner! Nathan Scudder will receive $500 to put toward college/career next year. We are so proud of you! Once a Bear, always a Bear!

HGE families are invited to another parent organized summer play date on Tuesday, June 2 at Carpenter Park! The first play date was a blast! This is a great chance for students to reconnect, play, and enjoy some summer fun together. 🛝

Starting June 1, district and school text messages will come from a new number: 98900 📱

Be sure to save this number as “Adams 12 Text Alerts” so you can easily recognize important school and district communications.

School may be out for summer, but we’re still celebrating all of the amazing memories from the end of the year! ☀️🎉

First up: Kindergarten Continuation! We are so proud of our youngest Bears and all of the growth they made this year. From learning routines and making friends to reading, writing, and growing their confidence, they have come so far and are more than ready for 1st grade!

Even though the school year has come to an end, we still want to recognize and celebrate our final Bear of the Month winners! 🐻⭐

During the month of May, we honored students who demonstrated perseverance by continuing to work hard, push through challenges, and keep going even when things were difficult. We are so proud of the determination and resilience these students showed throughout the year.
