Welcome to "Camp Kinder!" ⛺️✨

On the last week of school, our Kinders traded their "desks" for sleeping bags and camp gear! This Bridges tradition is always a massive hit. Here is a sneak peek at our camp itinerary:

📚 Reading cozy stories by flashlight
🍫 Making (and eating!) delicious s'mores
🌟 Stargazing from the comfort of the classroom
👕 Designing matching friendship shirts
👻 Telling "not-so-scary" campfire stories

It’s safe to say Camp Kinder is an absolute core memory. It is always such a massive hit with the kids, and it’s a milestone tradition they’ll be talking about for years to come!

🕊️ A Special tribute to Ms. Tina. 🧡

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Cara Lou—a longtime Bridges parent and dedicated PAC member—who so lovingly donated her time and talent to create this beautiful tribute.

Looking at these faces, it’s hard to believe how far they’ve come. These are all the students who shared the magic of kindergarten together in Ms. Tina’s class. Now, they have officially bridged from 8th grade and are heading off to high school! 🎓✨

Ms. Tina was so much more than an amazing teacher; she was an incredible human being and a true gift to our community. Though she is now our angel watching from above, her warmth, love, and spirit continue to live on through our students, families, and teachers.

We love you, we miss you, and we promise to always carry on your beautiful message: "Don't leave yourself out!"

Did you know that studies show kids who don't read over the break can lose up to two months of reading skills??

Good news--we have an incredible community with tons of reading programs that even offer incentives for students to read!

Keep the reading momentum going through Summer; it really helps as they transition into the next grade.

When science meets snacks! 🥭🧪

7A Inquiry explored molecular gastronomy today by crafting handmade mango popping boba. Science has never tasted so sweet!

Our Bridges Middle School Leaders are able to accomplish so much during their 30 minute weekly meets to enrich the lives of all of our students!

From Red Ribbon Week, being Kinder Buddies, planning parties, hosting lunchtime events, and educating students about the dangers of va**ng, they truly add so much to our school! Thank you for all your hard work!

To our amazing Bridges families: you survived another year alongside us, and honestly? We couldn't have done it without you. 🙌

Kelly, Skye, and Cindy are officially wishing you the BEST summer yet. We hope it is full of sun, snacks, spontaneous adventures, and absolutely zero alarm clocks (for a little while, at least 😄).

We'll miss your kids like crazy, and we'll be counting down the days until we get to do this again. 💛
