Today our little artists explored a fun process art activity 🎨! We poured different colors of paint onto a large piece of cardboard and used brushes to swirl, spread, and create unique designs. Once the paint was mixed into beautiful patterns, each child placed a sheet of paper on top and gently lifted it away to reveal a one of a kind marbled masterpiece. The focus is on the experience of creating rather than producing a specific end product. Process art encourages children to explore, experiment, make decisions, and express their creativity. Every piece turned out differently, and that’s what makes process art so special! ❤️

Meal time or sensory play? 🤣 Around here it’s usually both! Messy eating may look chaotic, but it’s actually an important part of early childhood development. Babies learn through touching, squishing, smelling, tasting, and exploring different textures with their hands and faces. These experiences help build fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, independence, and healthy relationships with food. So yes… the yogurt ends up everywhere except the spoon sometimes but every messy moment is a learning moment!
At our center, we embrace the mess because little hands learn best through play, exploration, and experience.

Behind every smile, every milestone, and every hug is a bond built on trust, love, patience, and care.
At our center, our teachers don’t just educate they nurture, comfort, encourage, and become a safe place for each child. The relationships we build with our students are truly special, and watching them grow feels like family.

We have a case of midweek slump in our toddler room!
Do we consider the week half full or half empty? Remember, it’s all about perspective!
Spanish is the second most spoken language in the U.S. Teaching it in Pre-K helps children appreciate cultures different from their own, fostering empathy and building a sense of global citizenship. This also promotes inclusivity by validating the home language of Spanish-speaking students, ensuring they feel confident and valued in the classroom.

I think that we can all agree that this is a pretty impressive Lego dog! Good work, dude! You might think this is just play but it’s so much more than that. Through building, children develop spatial awareness, problem-solving skills, and creativity, while also improving hand-eye coordination and finger strength.

Kids are messy… but that’s how they learn! Let them make a mess. That mess is temporary but the memories are forever. The children were surprised to see their teacher dump a puddle of glue onto the floor to make slime. The room was filled with giggles and curiosity. That was all the confirmation that we needed to realize that THIS is exactly how core memories are made and we’re hopeful that many years down the road this will be a story they tell. Also check out that impressive SpongeBob glob!
