The annual senior band trip gave our Knights an unforgettable week in New York City, exploring Central Park, the Museum of Modern Art, a Broadway show, and even taking on SpyGames with Mark Blowers '08!

A special thank you to Aaron Hood '90 for hosting the group at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse, and to Ryan Marshall '86 and his wife, Mary, for providing tickets to a bilingual performance of Romeo and Juliet at Shakespeare in the Park.

Thank you to Mr. Carl Collier, Mrs. Stephanie Finn, and all of our SFS Alumni Knights who helped make this memorable experience possible!

After 11 years of faithful leadership as President of St. Francis de Sales School, we offer our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Geoff Rose, OSFS!

Since arriving on campus in fall 2013, Fr. Rose has helped shape the future of St. Francis in countless ways, including:

> An improved balance sheet through growth of reserve funds, reduction of debt, and sustained philanthropic investments

> The introduction, integration, and astonishing growth of grades 7-8, combined with healthy and stable high school enrollment;

> The implementation of the Salesian Leadership Initiative, challenging all students to grow in humble confidence, authentic relationships, and servant leadership;

> All-new science classroom-labs in the Center for Advanced Scientific Exploration wing;

> The launch and groundbreaking of a $26 million campus improvement project as part of Our Faithful Loyalty – The 75th Anniversary Campaign.

Luckily, he is not going far! Fr. Rose will continue to be a part of the St. Francis family through the Jamaica Mission, the Global Salesian Leadership Symposium, and the Salesian Leadership Initiative.

Thank you, Fr. Geoff, for your dedication, friendship, and unwavering belief in the mission of St. Francis de Sales School. We are grateful for your service and look forward to the many ways you will continue to inspire our community.

Our past principal, Fr. Marty Lukas, OSFS, is retiring after more than 40 years of priestly ministry!

All are invited to a Mass honoring Fr. Marty, 11 a.m., Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Gesu Parish. A reception will follow.
