🍄 The mushrooms are loose at DeVeaux! 🍄

Our talented student artists were hard at work this Spring creating 45 handmade ceramic mushrooms, and now it’s time for a community-wide treasure hunt!

These one-of-a-kind creations will be hidden around the grounds of DeVeaux Elementary School as part of the worldwide “Game of Shrooms” event.

🔍 The hunt begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Students, their families, and community members are invited to come explore, search, and see if they can find a ceramic mushroom to take home! Each mushroom was created by a student artist and is meant to be discovered and enjoyed by its finder.

Yesterday at DeVeaux Elementary it was filled with pride and joy as we celebrated the 8th-grade graduation!

Families gathered to watch their children reach this huge milestone. To make the moment even more special, students and teachers lined the hallways. They cheered loudly as the 8th graders walked by, showing amazing support as these students begin their next journey.

Moments like this show the true power of a strong, caring community. We love seeing everyone come together to lift up our youth and celebrate their hard work.
