🌊 Registration for swim lessons is now open! Kids ages 3–15 can learn to swim at any City of Toledo pools this July. Lessons are $20. This is a great way to build water safety and confidence.

Learn About the Spectrum

A big part of breaking stigma is demystifying labels and diagnoses. We do this through community education. Having open and honest conversations about the realities of certain conditions can make them feel less intimidating. After all, you are not alone.

We at NAMI and the Believe Center have noticed a huge need for autistic family support in our local community. We set out to address this need by creating SIPS: Support & Information For Parents About the Spectrum. SIPS is an open, no-cost support group for all families impacted by autism. Here, you can have candid conversations with other caregivers who are going through the same things.

At Escuela SMART Academy, she is so much more than a school nurse. She is a safe space, a trusted listener, and a calming presence for our students and staff every single day.
From caring for physical needs to supporting emotional well-being, she does it all with compassion, patience, and love. Our students know they are seen, heard, and cared for because of her. 💕
