Out and about in Tomball this morning? Come see us in front of the mural at Tomball Farmers Market from 9am-1pm today! Chat with two of our experienced Waldorf teachers, and learn about how Waldorf education supports developing bodies and minds to foster the next generation of compassionate problem-solvers. While you’re there you can grab a coffee from Purefi Coffee Roasters and tamales from Carmelitas, our neighbors for the morning, and enjoy all the market has to offer our community. See you soon!

Our Fly-Away Ceremony celebrated the special moment of our early childhood children rising to their next 'nest' where they will continue to be nurtured and loved. To all the parents of these dear children, we love and appreciate you and are grateful for the magical memories that we have made and look forward to all the joy and growth of what is ahead.

We see school as a journey. Journeys of the best sort are those that are varied, that develop a deep sense of curiosity, that develop a love for discovery, that develop respect for that which was not known before, and that which offers unexpected and unanticipated revelations. CONGRATULATIONS to our 8th Grade graduates! We have REVERED you and LOVED you and look forward to all that you will do with your talents, wisdom, warmth, and freedom. Your helpful hands and caring hearts will be missed on campus, but remember that the 'Oak Grove' is always your home!

This year's graduation song will be Sinatra's 'I Did it My Way' altered to 'We Did It Our Way' which is a perfect fit for this creative, talented, and wise group!!! We are so proud of you and celebrate your achievements over the past eight years but particularly your accomplishments this year of your BEAUTIFUL main lesson books, your incredibly inspiring 8th grade capstone project presentations, your successful, snowy trip to Alaska, and your riotous, remarkable play, 'The Princess Bride'!! Go forth and be an inspiration, come visit often and remember that 'The Oak Tree' is always your home!!

Our 6th and 8th graders transported us all to a magical land in their masterful production of 'The Princess Bride' a few weeks ago. Congratulations to these two wonderful classes who came together to give our school community a lot of laughs, a few tears, and another reason to make us all love storytelling and the power of theater!! Let us all be heroes of friendship!
