Congrats, Elena!

Art has a way of making big ideas visible — and third grader Elena Rodriguez did exactly that. 🎨 Elena, a student at Orchard Elementary School, took first place in the third grade division of the Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District's 2026 Clean Air Art Contest! Her artwork, inspired by the theme "Heroes for Clean Air," will be featured on stickers and promotional items at community events. We are so proud of you, Elena!

Summer’s here, and free meals are too! ☀️ VUSD’s Summer Sun Meals program runs June 8 through Aug. 7, and any child under 18 can eat — no cost, no sign-up, no catch. Just show up!
