A lot of people think a “good” agent is someone who agrees with everything they say.

We disagree.

Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial decisions most people will ever make. You deserve a team who will be honest with you — even when it’s not the easiest conversation.

→ Sometimes that means telling a seller their price is too high.
→ Sometimes it means telling a buyer not to overpay just because emotions took over.
→ Sometimes it means walking away from a deal entirely because the risks outweigh the reward.

Our job is to protect your time, money, leverage, and long-term outcome, and sometimes that means being brutally honest with you.

If this is the kind of agent you're looking for, let's connect. Send us a DM whenever you're ready!

The path isn't always clear. The timeline rarely looks the way you thought it would. And there will be seasons where you're doing everything right and still have no idea where you're headed.

But here's what I know: the people who end up exactly where they're supposed to be aren't always the ones with the best plan. They're the ones who kept going anyway. Who trusted the process even when it didn't make sense. Who refused to let uncertainty talk them out of their potential.

Your story isn't behind schedule. It's just unfolding the way it's supposed to.

Food. Drinks. Archery. Community.

Sounds like a pretty good Saturday night to me.

Tomorrow! June 20th from 7-9 PM at Bear River Archery, I’m throwing my annual community event and checking out one of Van Alstyne’s newest attractions.

Comment “archery” for the link to reserve your spot for this free event!

Here's something most sellers don't want to hear, but need to:

Overpriced homes don’t just sell slower… they usually sell for less.

We get it. Pricing on the high end feels like it gives you room to negotiate. But buyers today are incredibly educated. They're watching the market daily, comparing every home in your price range, and they know when something seems overpriced. And when a home sits too long? The narrative shifts. Suddenly, buyers aren't competing to get it. They're negotiating with you to take it off your hands.

Homes priced correctly from day one consistently net more money than those that start high and chase the market down with price reductions.

Thinking about selling? Let's talk strategy before you list. Send us a DM when you're ready.

If you’re looking for Father’s Day plans, consider this your sign to skip the generic gift and spend the day making actual memories instead.

Good food, a local brewery, maybe some golf, a baseball game, ice cream, or just hanging out somewhere local together… honestly, that’s probably all most dads want anyway. ❤️

June’s City Council summary is up!

Van Alstyne City Council approved a 453-lot development on FM 121 last night — but that was honestly just the headliner. They also adopted a Comprehensive Plan, had a live debate that ended with a developer redesigning a road on the spot, and postponed a downtown sewer ordinance over concerns about small business impact. A lot went down.
