Yesterday we proudly celebrated the incredible achievements of our 5th grade students as they culminate their elementary school journey at Broadway Elementary! 🌟

Through hard work, perseverance, growth, and countless memories, these students have reached an important milestone. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and excited for the bright futures that await them in middle school.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teachers, staff, and families for their unwavering support and encouragement along the way. Together, we have helped shape confident, capable, and compassionate learners ready for their next chapter.

Today at Broadway Elementary, we held our annual 5th Grade vs. Staff Kickball Game! 🥎

The energy was high, the competition was friendly, and the memories were unforgettable. Our 5th graders came ready to pla, and let's just say they dominated the staff team! 😄

Congratulations to our students on a huge victory and thank you to everyone who participated, cheered, and helped make this annual tradition so much fun. What a great way to celebrate our amazing 5th graders! 🎉

The final score may be best left off the scoreboard, but the staff is already requesting a rematch next year! 😆🥎

Our Grades 3–5 students had an amazing time at UCLA Career Day with Ms. Cabrera! 🎓✨

Students explored exciting career opportunities, learned from inspiring professionals, and experienced life on a college campus. From hands-on activities to engaging performances, the day was filled with learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this field trip such a special experience for our students! 💙💛

We wrapped up Staff & Teacher Appreciation Week with a wonderful lunch sponsored by our amazing 4th and 5th grade families! 💙🍽️

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who donated food, helped organize, set up, serve, and clean up. Your generosity and support made our staff feel truly appreciated all week long.

Our kids had an amazing time participating in the Heart Health Challenge! ❤️ From staying active to learning healthy habits, they brought so much energy, excitement, and teamwork to every activity. We’re so proud of their enthusiasm and commitment to keeping their hearts healthy while having FUN! 💪🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Staff & Teacher Appreciation Week continues 💛

Day 3 featured a delicious catered lunch provided by our wonderful 2nd & 3rd grade parents and catered by Broadway parent Chef Ross Ruiz 🍽️✨

Day 4 we rolled in a Room Service cart for all teachers & staff, brought to you by Friends of Broadway ☕🍓🥐

Monday kicked things off with a delicious catered lunch hosted by our Kinder & 1st grade families — such a thoughtful treat for our amazing staff! 🍽️

Day 2 was all about spoiling our teachers and staff with:

🍿 a popcorn bar
🥤 a crushed ice drink bar
👕 a fun spirit wear station

Everyone got to pick out Broadway gear and customize it with adorable patches — or bring their own items to personalize! We also rolled out a snack cart during the afternoon teacher meeting to keep the celebrations going. 🎉
