BIG NEWS, 805!!! 💚

Homeschool Community 805 is officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization!

What started as a dream to bring homeschooling families together has grown into a real movement built on community, connection, and support. Because of YOU, we’re now able to grow in even bigger ways for families throughout Ventura County and beyond.

This milestone means:
💚More opportunities for our kids
💚More support for homeschooling families
💚More community events and resources
💚More partnerships and future programs
💚More impact together

Kidpreneurs from the 805 Children’s Business Fair are popping up at the Downtown Oxnard Farmers Market every 3rd Thursday of the month!

Come support youth entrepreneurs as they practice real-world business skills, sell their products, and connect with the community.

This opportunity is presented by Homeschool Community 805 and is open to any student who wants to participate. If your child has a business (or wants to start one), we’d love to see them there!

We had so much fun on a Sea-fari with one of our favorite nonprofits! 🌊🛥️ Homeschool science for the day looked like species spotting, boater safety, teamwork on the water, and dockside cleanup. Even when we don’t call it a lesson, we’re always learning. The day was full of hands-on science, confidence, community, and so much joy, thanks to the team! 💙
