What a week for Raider Athletics as three teams competed on the biggest stage in Virginia high school sports!

🎾 Girls Tennis

* Defeated Buffalo Gap 6-0 in the State Quarterfinals.
* Defeated Lancaster 5-4 in the State Semifinals.
* Advanced to the VHSL Class 1 State Championship Match.
* Finished the season as VHSL Class 1 State Runner-Up.

⚽ Boys Soccer

* Defeated Altavista 1-0 in the State Quarterfinals.
* Advanced to the State Semifinals in Salem.
* Finished the season as a VHSL Class 1 State Semifinalist.

⚾ Baseball

* Defeated Luray 5-0 in the State Quarterfinals.
* Defeated Chilhowie 5-3 in the State Semifinals.
* Advanced to the VHSL Class 1 State Championship Game.
* Finished the season as VHSL Class 1 State Runner-Up.

Three teams reached the final week of the season, two teams competed for a State Championship, and all three represented Rappahannock High School with pride, determination, and class.

We are proud to celebrate a tremendous achievement as Rappahannock High School earned 1st Place in the Project GPS High School Division!

A special thank you goes to School Resource Officer Deputy Will England, whose leadership, commitment to student safety, and dedication to building positive relationships with our students helped make this accomplishment possible.

This award reflects the hard work of our students and the strong partnership between our school, law enforcement, families, and community. Together, we continue to create opportunities that promote safe choices and student success.

🚨 Another Great Night to Be a Raider! 🚨

⚾ Raider Baseball continued its postseason run with a 5-0 victory over Luray and advances to the VHSL State Semifinals in Salem on Friday!

⚽ Raider Soccer earned a hard-fought 1-0 win over Altavista and also advances to the VHSL State Semifinals in Salem on Friday!

🥎 Raider Softball saw an outstanding season come to an end with a 5-2 loss to William Campbell. We are incredibly proud of this team and all they accomplished this year.

Two teams are still dancing and headed to Salem! ❤️🩶
