In addition to headrow harvest at the research station, we are harvesting an on-farm trial in King William County. This test examines the effect on planting date on spring freeze. This location had quite a bit of spring freeze this season so the results will definitely be interesting.

Put in our first sorghum plot in about 10 years today. There is renewed sorghum interest in our area due to new local markets. Thanks to extension agents Turner Minx and Robbie Longest for taking the lead on these variety trials.
