Hiii OID members, we look forward to seeing you guys next week for our Alumni panel at the Elliott School. We will have food from Falafel Inc. now introducing our third panelist, Samira Sariolghalam, MA IDS ’21, is a refugee resettlement program manager with Church World Service. She previously served as a consultant on the Afghan Integration Program with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, and as a program officer working on reception and placement with the Ethiopian Community Development Council. Samira has over nine years of professional experience in the nonprofit sector serving vulnerable groups. She is a development expert dedicated to addressing global development challenges by empowering marginalized groups in diverse regions and is passionate about assisting immigrant and refugee populations.

Hi OID members, be sure to RSVP using the link in our bio for the IDS Alumni Panel on December 04 from 6-8pm. Introducing our next speaker, Sunaina Perera, MA IDS ’18, is a program specialist in USAID’s Middle East Bureau, working
as a contractor with Chenega. Prior to this, she spent over three years in the agency’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, working on Syria programs.
